Minnesota National Guard Association Goals for 2009:

Membership:

1. Increase individual membership by 10% over 1 July 2009 through 30 June 2010.
2. Increase Company Grade membership by 15% over 1 July 2009 through 30 June 2010.
3. Increase corporate membership by 10% over 1 July 2009 through 30 June 2010.
4. Collect data on the number of retirees that become retired members of the State Association.

Communications:

1. Stand up a committee in October, 2009, to develop a communication plan to increase the effectiveness of communications with membership.
2. Create a membership application which outlines the benefits of membership in the Association by 1 November 2009. This application will also include details of the NGAUS Insurance program.

Legislative:

1. Organize and support timely legislation that benefits all members of the Minnesota National Guard.
