Dear Prospective Sponsor,

The National Guard Association of Minnesota (NGAMN) is proud to be a non-profit association that works for the betterment of National Guard Soldiers and Airmen with the community-based Minnesota Nation Guard. The Minnesota National Guard is part of a strong American tradition serving with valor and distinction in every conflict in our country's history since 1856. We are made up of over 1500 active and retired National Guard Officers. Our purpose is to promote the security of the United State of America and the State of Minnesota through support for our soldiers and their families. Association's primary goals is to petition for obtaining better equipment, standardizing training and more combat ready forces, benefits and future mission issues for our men and women in the MN Army and Air National Guard. These missions have become ever more critical with the continue mobilization and deployment of our Soldiers and Airmen in support of the Global War on Terror. We deliver these priorities to the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS), our Governor and members of our congressional delegation.

With the help of our Corporate Sponsors, together as a team, we have been very instrumental over the last several years in securing additional, much needed resources with which to accomplish our missions more effectively. We also are able to provide a better quality of life benefits for our members within the Guard it becomes possible for us to educate our membership on current issues and legislation in Congress.

Once again, this year the Association is focusing its efforts on further development of MN National Guard Youth Camp-the future of MN Guard, and MN Military Appreciation Foundation. We have incorporated two scholarships in amount of $500 for our soldiers or immediate family members who qualify.
